Careworkers - Ranui, Alexandra

We have 2 permanent positions available:

Position 1:
You will be working a minimum of 20 hours per week as a relief carer to cover varying shifts for staff on leave.  The rostered shifts you will work are:

  • On 3 days on 5 days off roster starting at midnight and finishing at 6am.
  • Afternoon shift starting at 3.15pm and finishing at 9pm on days to be negotiated.

 

Position 2:
You will be working 7 days per fortnight on a rotating roster which includes alternate weekends.  Your start time is 3.15pm to 9pm.

 

In these positions you will be supporting people receiving support at hospital level. You will be working with residents to provide quality of life care, ensuring that all their activities of daily living are met.

Immediate start is available for this position once applicant is appointed.

An Enliven home, Ranui has 48 residents who are supported at hospital and rest home level. It’s a home integral to the community with all Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven homes having 4 year certification from Ministry of Health. That is testament to the quality of our systems, processes, living and working environments – and especially our staff.

As a major provider of health & social services to the people of Otago, PSO employs over 700 people, supported by over 500 volunteers.
