Registered Nurse

 Holmdene, Balclutha

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for our busy Enliven care home in Balclutha, South Otago.

This is a permanent full time position working 32 hours per week.

Days of work and hours are on roster and shift rotation, and it is expected that applicants are able to work across all shifts (morning 6.45am – 3.15pm, afternoon 3pm to 11pm, and night 11pm to 7am).

You need to have a New Zealand practising certificate, excellent leadership, time management and problem solving skills, and an ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

You should ideally have at least 3 years post registration experience, some of that in aged care and be InterRAI trained.

As an RN you’ll provide residents with a continuity of care that’s rare in the usual public health system. You’ll also have the backing of an organisation renown for supporting staff with on-going professional development, and a leader in workplace health & safety.

An Enliven home, Holmdene has 35 residents who are supported at hospital and rest home level of care. It’s a home integral to the community and one of 7 Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven homes to have 4 year certification. That is testament to the quality of our systems, processes, living and working environments – and especially our staff.

Presbyterian Support Otago is a major provider of health & social services to the people of Otago. We employ in excess of 700 and are supported by over 500 volunteers. We’re central to the communities in which we provide services and your role is central to all we do.

All applications must be submitted on the official Employment Application Form available by clicking "Apply now" and only those people with a legal right to work in NZ should apply.

For further information contact Nina Lunn, Manager of Holmdene on 03 418 1468.
