We are looking for an experienced Cook to work in a dual position at Elmslie House, Wanaka.
This is a permanent position working both as Cook and Careworker on a rotating roster.
You will be working 40 hours per fortnight as Cook.
You will be cooking for approximately 80 people and applicants should have a minimum of 3 years Cooking/Hospitality experience.
You will need to ensure all meals are presented in an appetizing way, that kitchen equipment is sparkling clean and well maintained, and enjoy the banter from residents who have been there done that before you.

You will be working 20 hours per fortnight as Careworker.
If you are enthusiastic, have empathy for older people, keen and motivated to learn, these positions could be for you.
In this role you would be supporting the lives of those living in hospital level residential care by providing high quality care to them.
Applicants with aged care experience is preferred, however full training will be provided.
Our Enliven Wanaka homes, are Elmslie which has 31 residents who are supported at hospital and rest home level of care, and Aspiring caters to approximately 30 residents.
Both are homes integral to the community and 8 of Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven homes have 4 year certification. That is testament to the quality of our systems, processes, living and working environments – and especially our staff.
