Careworkers (Casual) - Aspiring, Wanaka

  • Location: Wanaka - Central Otago

We are looking for Careworkers to join our team at Aspiring Enliven in Wanaka.

If you are enthusiastic, have empathy for older people, keen and motivated to learn, this position could be for you.

In this role you will be supporting the lives of those living in resthome/hospital level residential care by providing high quality care to them.

Applicants should have at least 1 years experience in an aged care environment and should hold or show a willingness to complete the Level 3 National Certificate in Community Support qualification.

This is a casual position and you could be working morning, afternoon or night shift.

Our Enliven Wanaka homes, are Elmslie which has 31 residents who are supported at hospital and rest home level of care, and Aspiring caters to approximately 40 residents.

Both are homes integral to the community and eight of Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven homes have 4 year certification. That is testament to the quality of our systems, processes, living and working environments – and especially our staff.

Presbyterian Support Otago is a major provider of health & social services to the people of Otago. We employ in excess of 700 and are supported by over 500 volunteers. We’re central to the communities in which we provide services and your role is central to all we do.
