Danny Hailes

Danny joined the PSO Board in September 2024.

Danny grew up in Dunedin, is a qualified lawyer and retired last year from full-time employment in senior roles in the meat export industry. As well as some part-time consulting work, Danny spends time developing his rural property in Blueskin Bay and is an adult Buddy in the PSO Buddy programme.

Danny is married to Sarah, they have two adult sons and twin granddaughters.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, tramping, gardening and spending time with his family and pet dog, Ruby.
