Dave Bainbridge-Zafar

Dave joined the PSO Board in October 2023.

Originally from the UK, he has a strong background in property management in both the public and private sector. He moved to New Zealand in 2017 and spent five years at Dunedin City Council, leading the Property Services department, where he was responsible for a diverse property portfolio that included almost a thousand social housing units.

Dave now manages the property function for Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ), looking after hospitals and healthcare facilities across Otago and Southland. 

Dave is a Member of the Institute of Directors and is also on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity. 

In his spare time, he coaches rugby for the University of Otago. Dave lives in Dunedin with his wife Asuma.
