Tanya Povey

Tanya joined the PSO Board in October 2023.

Tanya is a qualified radiographer and worked at Auckland Hospital, then retrained and qualified as a physiotherapist.

She has spent the majority of her career working in the broader health and community sector including as a self-employed physiotherapist, and significant time working within the not-for-profit sector. Tanya currently works for IHC Group in health and safety.

She is a member of the Institute of Directors and also serves on the Board of Whai Rawa and associated entities. Whai Rawa are the commercial investment company of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei.

Tanya is married and mother to three wonderful young men. She enjoys playing hockey, a sport that has provided some amazing lifelong friendships as well as great opportunities to travel.
