Knowledge test raises funds

Presbyterian Support Otago’s latest fundraiser was a great night out, quizzing of course.

Fifteen teams competed at the Kensington quiz. The winning team ‘Quizteama Aguilera’ came away with some great goodies courtesy of Tuapeka Gold Print. We raised an amazing total of $1,400 from raffles and entry fees.

All proceeds from the night have gone to our Enliven Visiting Volunteers service where volunteers are paired up with older people in the community to spend time with them in their own homes.

A big thank you to the following sponsors who helped out with prizes: Tuapeka Gold Print, Rialto Cinemas, Z Service Stations Dunedin, Stu Robbie (The Rockerman) and Jude McCracken (Nutrimetics Consultant).

Congratulations to our major raffle prize winner, Maurice Burrowes, who took away a Breville Toaster and Kettle package.

Thank you to everyone who was involved – the fundraising team, sponsors, participants and the Kensington Tavern for the quiz questions and venue.
