Presbyterian Support Otago have recently taken on something among the first of its kind in New Zealand and established an online charity store.
We decided an online store was an ideal way to reach a wider audience, and launched Shop On.
Presbyterian Support Otago Communications and Marketing Manager Warren Rosser said, “Our physical stores have been really popular with a range of visitors from other cities. We wanted to offer an easy and ongoing way to keep connected and it’s been an exciting challenge to set up the online store and all the processes involved in online shopping."
Shop On ships nationwide, meaning buyers from all over New Zealand can purchase from the wide selection of preloved treasures.
The online shop has a variety of items, including menswear, womenswear, jewellery and accessories, homewares and collectibles. Dunedin buyers have the option to come in and see the item, or try it on, before buying it online.
“Online vintage stores are gaining popularity, but it’s unique to have a charity store online in New Zealand. This is an amazing way for people to support Otago and the work we do, and they can do it from the comfort of their couch.”
