Tuesday 25 October, refreshments from 5pm
Burns Hall, First Church, Moray Place Dunedin
All are invited to join staff, volunteers, donors and friends to our organisation's annual general meeting.
The theme in this, our 110th year, is 'caring for our children - a community responsibility'
This is your chance to hear about how our organisation is continuing to make a difference in the lives of children, families and older people in Otago. Our annual report for the 2015/16 financial year will also be presented.
This year's guest speaker is Ms Grainne Moss. Ms Moss has recently been appointed Chief Executive, Ministry for Vulnerable Children, Oranga Tamariki. Her career spans over 25 years in the public and private sectors across three countries, the UK, Switzerland and New Zealand. Prior to accepting her new role Ms Moss was Managing Director with Bupa Care Services NZ, where she worked for nine years. Originally from Ireland, Ms Moss is an accomplished long-distance swimmer. She is the first Irish woman to swim the English Channel at age 17 in 1987 and Cook Strait at age 31. She has four children.
We look forward to seeing you at this important event
