Providing premium quality care and professional services to residents has earned Taieri Court top certification status from the Ministry of Health.
A Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven residential aged care home, Taieri Court becomes the organisation’s sixth home to be awarded the accolade.
“Independent auditors identified that Taieri Court provides fantastic over-all service and that staff go above and beyond the call of duty in supporting residents,” says Enliven Director Maurice Burrowes.
“It’s certainly not something achieved easily, so auditors’ comments about resident and family feedback ‘raving’ about Taieri Court was really encouraging to hear.”
Six of the seven Enliven homes in Otago now hold four-year certification, making Presbyterian Support the leading residential aged care provider in Otago and Southland.
Taieri Court Manager Mary McKay says a celebration for residents and their families, staff members and volunteers will be held to mark the achievement.
“I’m so proud of everyone. They work really hard to ensure our residents live life as independently as they can, providing a high standard of quality care, with lots of fun and laughter along the way.”
