Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) welcomes new Board Chair, Stephanie Pettigrew, and Deputy Chair, Kerry Enright.
Both are current Board members and Stephanie was the former Deputy Chair and Chair of the Governance Committee.
Outgoing Chair, Tim Mepham, who has been on the Board since 2008 and was appointed Chair in 2019 says it has been a privilege being the Chair, having had the opportunity to serve the community in this position.
He congratulates Stephanie and Kerry, wishing them well for the future.
“Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role and I wish her and Kerry, as Deputy, all the very best. They will be supported by a highly skilled and committed Board.”
Tim will remain on the Board until the end of June 2023.
Stephanie, a family property lawyer and director at Mark’s & Worth Lawyers, says she’s fortunate to lead a fantastic Board made up of excellent people who are all committed to serving PSO and the people of Otago.
“PSO is facing some significant challenges over the next two years. The need in our community is huge and we are facing greater financial pressure than ever before. We are building on the foundation of our Christian faith, which has motivated generations before us to step up and do the mahi that is needed in our community. We have great people at PSO and together we can face the challenges ahead of us.”
Newly appointed Deputy Chair Kerry Enright says, “I am committed to working for a just world where everyone is included and no one is left behind. Serving Presbyterian Support Otago is a way to express that commitment.”
