Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a community service, run by Family Works in South Dunedin, promoting mental and social wellbeing and resilience.

The service offers adults living with mental health challenges opportunities to learn new skills, including arts, crafts, and woodwork, and build connections with the wider community.

Groups meet regularly five days per week and members also enjoy social events, community outings, and an annual camp.

A supportive group environment enables members to participate in planning and implementing activities that support their own recovery.

Below is a video, made a few years ago, with both past and existing members sharing what it is they love about Stepping Stones.
