Andrea Cairns, Home Manager
Andrea is the Manager at Iona, where she helps bring our Enliven philosophy to life. That means creating a real sense of home – where residents feel respected, safe, and supported to live with dignity. Andrea encourages strong connections between residents, their families, friends, and each other, helping everyone feel a sense of wellbeing and belonging. She works closely with her dedicated team, including trained health professionals, to make sure every resident feels truly cared for and valued.
Di Gibbs, Management Assistant
Di carries out a wide range of administrative duties, including timesheets, invoices and recruitment needs. She coordinates meetings and provides staff-related support for Stephenie Leith.
Nicky Jenson, Activities Coordinator
Nicky, with her Activities colleagues, will plan and organise social activities to encourage our residents to be active, socialise with one another, ensuring residents have a fulfilling experience. This can include a huge variety of activities such as bingo, gentle exercises, board games, outings and fancy-dress days.
Michelle Munro, Dementia Activities Coordinator
Michelle also plans and organises events, this time with residents with dementia and other cognitive illnesses. Activities are not only scientifically researched, they are engaging, fun and interactive.
Bev Nuttall, Activities Coordinator
Bev will also plan and organise social activities, creating great opportunities for residents to be active, social and fulfilled.
Hilary Oxford Smith, Chaplain
As Iona's chaplain, Hilary provides spiritual guidance and care to our residents.
Karen Rowe, Activities Coordinator
The Activities team also includes Karen who takes pride in planning and running activities that are fun for residents to take part in, learn new things and have a sense of community by coming together to share in the experiences.
