What would you do?

Enliven Visiting Volunteers visit older people in their homes for a chat over a cup of tea, to play a game of cards, help with shopping, or share an outing.

Our volunteers provide regular, ongoing contact and good company, often providing a link to the community for those who are confined to the home.

The Visiting Volunteers Coordinator will talk with clients about their interests and preferences to ensure the best possible match with a suitable volunteer.

Never underestimate the power of the volunteer hour. One hour of social engagement enriches the lives of older adults. Friendships and connections are important. Studies have found socially active seniors have higher satisfaction with life, are happier and have a lower risk of depression and anxiety.
