Message from our CEO and Board Chair

Robbie’s message

As Christmas approaches, I’ve been deeply moved by the incredible work happening across PSO.

From generous donations and tireless volunteer efforts to the skill and compassion of our staff – and the wisdom and guidance of our Board – it’s clear that our mission to support Otago communities is alive and thriving.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support brings hope, dignity, and care to those who need it most.

“Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.”
My strength is not that of an individual, but that of the collective.

Wishing you a joyful, restful Christmas and a bright New Year.

Ngā mihi, Robbie Moginie, CEO

Stephanie welcomes new members of the Board

As we approach the end of another year, I’m delighted to introduce those who have joined the Presbyterian Support Otago Board recently. Each brings a wealth of experience, insight, and heart to our mission. We Welcome:

Rev Dr Rebecca Dudley, a respected and experienced international human rights lawyer and Presbyterian minister, ordained in the USA.

Fiona McClenaghan, a Queenstown-based trained radiation therapist with a background in digital health and service design.

Julie Loan, a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years in financial systems and governance across the not-for-profit sector.

Vicki Botting, Associate Director at Deloitte, with deep expertise in accounting and a strong connection to Dunedin’s community.

Kurt Thomas, a physiotherapist, and health & safety leader with a passion for rehabilitation and community wellbeing.

Their compassion and commitment to service will strengthen PSO’s work in meaningful ways.
We also acknowledge and thank Rev Dr Kerry Enright, who concludes six years of service on the Board. Kerry’s thoughtful leadership and deep understanding of governance have contributed significantly to PSO’s work and impact.

To our incredible community - thank you. Your generous support is vital. On behalf of the Board, I wish you a very merry and meaningful Christmas, filled with peace, connection, and hope.

Warm regards,

Stephanie Pettigrew, Chair, PSO Board
