Together Otago: our commitment to community wellbeing

Earlier this October, Presbyterian Support Otago held the very first Together Otago event in Mornington, Dunedin – and it was more than just a gathering. It was a celebration of shared commitment to the wellbeing of our communities.

Together Otago is a new initiative designed to bring together those who walk alongside PSO – donors, volunteers, churches, businesses, Mission Advocates and staff. These are people who don’t just support the work of PSO; they carry the same heart, the same values, and the same desire to respond with compassion and experience to the needs around us.

This event was a space to strengthen one another, to sharpen our collective response. We heard from Robbie Moginie (CEO), Nicole Devereux (General Manager Family Works) and from each other.

And yes, there were scones, jam, and cream – a delicious reminder that hospitality and warmth are part of the kaupapa too.
